Being able to recommend who to hire and fire would be awesome. To have that power and control is what could make it worth you time to go into work and you feel important. But to be the first one to lose your job means you dont have good job security which i dont want i would worry that I'm going to get fired at anytime.
I totally agree with you , it would be lots of fun to hire and fire people. Also I think it would give you a huge opportunity with responsibility.
